Alex Duffaut

Alex Duffaut, son of famous artist Prefette Duffaut portrays the hills in his imagination of his birthplace, the port city of  Jacmel in the south of Haiti. He has adopted a style very similar to his father's. "I traveled with Prefette one time to Jacmel where he originally worked in construction until he discovered his artistic talent. All those hills with tiny figures climbing represents his vision of Jacmel, I recall.  Alex could have been around 20 years old and that was about 15 years ago." quote from Lynn Grossberg 2003.
