The artifacts on this page were collected by a wealthy American man who traveled the world buying what he liked and then shipped them back to the US. Most of these pieces came from Papua New Guinea which is an island nation in the south Pacific near Australia. One piece came from Vanuatu. They mostly fall under the decorative arts category, but a couple of them show some age and use, which I have noted accordingly.
